Mindark Press Release

Today, Mindark released a set of in-game images from the CryEngine 2 version of the Entropia Universe.

The new images can be found at the main site here: Mindark: Image Gallery

While still remaining fairly vague about what we can expect to see it does however give us a glimpse of what’s in store for future interior decorating.

All we know for sure is that everything is going to be shiny and require some large amounts of processing power. Looks like I have some system upgrading to do.

PANet Podcast #03

Hey everyone, kinda late to making a post about the Podcast #03 because it has been up a for a good while but since I’m trying to make another go at this site I figure I should announced it in the main blog.

Notes: Talk about some of my projects that I am working on that are eu based and share a few opinions about the current quality of player content in Entropia Universe.

Fisting in the Ring

Time to time, interesting events spontaneously occur thanks to the players and I enjoy cataloging them here on this blog to show people who complain that nothing happens that it’s them missing the action and not the game.

Earlier today a massive fist fight broke out in the ring, in Twin Peaks, with many people jumping in and swingin’ fists.

I counted 11 participants including: Jenna Star Mercury, Devastating Vodka Lindsey, p4p413, Chainsaw Voorhees Maddness, Galadrial Princess Leyawiin, Jill Lady Death Strike, B’Murda True-gangsta Yomomma, Humant Bastard Denmark, Danny LammeD Van Venrooy, Anders Gorro Johannson, and Jabberwocky Jabber Wocky.

I think that’s everyone.

Champions League: Event #6

A bustling crowd gathered yesterday, up at Club Neverdie, for Champions League Event #6.

Hosted by the ever enthused Klod (Picture Right), this weeks event was a “Single Highest Loot” competition which conjured up many fair sized loots scrolling through the global chat window.

Despite a valiant effort from Force Majeure, after moving all over the leader board but the event came to a close with –

This weeks standings:

3) Sodiak

If you think you’ve got what it takes to win or want to prove yourself among the best players EU has to offer, then make your way up to Club Neverdie next Sunday and get your ticket for CL Event #7.

RX Units

There seems to be a slight misconception of what the RX Units are. It seems many assume they are spawned robot NPC’s but they’re actually avatars, controlled by Mindark staff.

The Units have god like stats, much more powerful then any uber when compared one on one and require a mob of players to take them down.

For those of you who haven’t managed to catch a glimpse of the RX Units, I went out to grab a snapshot from the latest event. Enjoy!

The event had a great turn out, despite what some nay-sayers are shouting. Though, there was a small amount of confusion among players about how the event worked and just how strong you needed to be to participate to stand a chance. As it turns out, the only hit you needed to make was the the final blow to the avatars health — meaning it was anyones game.

Hold this line!

In efforts to make up for the canceled LG event, Mindark took the suggestion from Lighterthief to launch an event mob to take its place.

While the RX event was going on, players who weren’t participating in the event began forming a line for no reason other then their own entertainment. Only in Entropia Universe can you find this kind of boredom crushing creativity.
